This 2-meal/day plan was the diet of the ancient Hebrews. God gave guidelines to His people for the health of their mind body spirit. The ten commandments helped everyone live in harmony and in love, the health guidelines kept everyone in health when they were followed. As a result, God’s people would have a healthy mind as well. Their purpose was to set this example to the world around them, so that others may also see this light of health and well-being in all aspects. This meal-plan is based off of this 2-meal/day model.
