Veges that should be cooked
Cruciferous veges have so many health benefits. It fights cancer, it reduces cardiovascular risk, reduces chronic inflammation issues… and they are tasty full of flavor! But not everyone can digest them well.
Consider steaming or boiling your cruciferous vegetables like kale or broccoli! This will help you digest without the bloating, and absorb the wonderful nutrients at the same time! Kale can also be contraindicated for hypothyroid issues which need iodine, as it can inhibit iodine absorption (goitrogen). Cooking the kale reduces its goitrogenic properties.
