Alkalize your body

Saliva is very important in keeping a neutral environment in the mouth. But while we sleep, saliva flow decreases by 10 times! That is not a lot of saliva! As you wake up in the morning, say a quick prayer of thanks to the life giving Source, our Savior, and drink 1-2 cups of room temperature or warm water as your very first step. This will begin to alkalize and rehydrate your body system.

Jump in the shower, just for hydration, and do a quick warm/cool contrast a few times, and end with cold. You will feel energized and awake! And so will your immune system!

If you have an irritated digestive system, you can do an additional cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice infused water. Lemon may taste sour, but its minerals are alkaline. You will find it soothing, calming and alkalizing.
