Health Revival Day

Ezekiel 47:12

“And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”

Be Refreshed in Nature

Take a health revival day. Working all week, sitting at a desk, or running around with a checklist of errands can certainly take a toll on our bodies and minds. Surrounding us we have concrete, asphalt and man-made hardware of all different types, not to mention EMF and radiation! Do you remember when you were very young, someone (at school) taught you that the trees take our Carbon Dioxide, and give us their Oxygen? Well yes. We were perhaps meant to live around trees and plants. Perhaps our health suffers, and we are slowly degenerating mind and body while we are not noticing, due to the lack of such natural order in our daily living?

On the weekend, go out in nature. Find the nearby beach or a forest area for a hike.  Breath in deep that fresh ionized air that nature has purified for you. Take in the sun and be active. Allow your body’s circulation to flow freely and open up all the clogged arteries and vessels from our sedentary and hypertonic life-style. Experience being refreshed and revived, and go back and conquer your week ahead.

Why is God’s nature so important to us? Because He designed us to coexist in harmony, like a relationship, by mutually giving. God’s character of love, being a relational God is reflected in this beautiful exchange of gases in between the trees and us, how we mutually nourish each other.
