A Vegan's Go-To Food Flavoring: Good or bad?

Seasoning can often make or break the dish. Good seasoning makes a tasteful dish, bad seasoning does the opposite.

But some seasoning, although tasting amazing, can really break our health! Nutritional yeast happens to be one of those loved and regarded seasonings, which can end up giving us chronic inflammatory problems.

Nutritional & Baker’s Yeast is a vegan’s go-to seasoning for various foods when a more wholesome flavor is needed in a fully plant-based dish. But the problem arises due to the fact that it may not be made in the most anti-inflammatory way!

The medium it is made of could potentially be GMO corn or Glyphosate wheat. The companies who manufacture them keep it a trade secret and will not tell us or place on the label. But Nutritional Yeast is a known cause of Crohn’s disease - a bowel condition.
