Reduce Anxiety
Isaiah 40:28-31
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Farming, a great form of exercise
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think ‘exercise’? Generally, the modern mind will not consider farming or gardening. But contrary to our common thought, farming is one of the healthiest forms of exercise one can get.
In a natural garden that utilizes organic methods, you get fresh air, sunshine, exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, and most of all, you watch life occurring in front of your very own eyes, and get to witness the plants growing in health. This is not only physically therapeutic, but mental emotionally therapeutic.
After gardening and caring for your tender greens and sumptuous fruits, go for a nice walk - another excellent form of exercise that allows for movement of the whole body, and promotes healthy circulation.
