Stressful Day Detox

  • Clay/Salt Half Bath

    Materials:

    • Calcium Bentonite Clay

    • Sodium Bentonite Clay

    • Himalayan Salt

    • Epsom Salt

    Method:

    • Fill tub with warm water halfway

    • Sprinkle 1/2cup Calcium, 1/2cup Sodium Bentonite Clay evenly

    • Sprinkle 1-2 generous spoonfuls of Himalayan Salt

    • Sprinkle 1-2 generous spoonfuls of Epsom Salt

    • Soak lower body 15-20mins, ok to exceed by a little

    • Upper body will warm up

    • Submerge fully and allow the minerals in the water to absorb further

    • Shower - warm 3mins/cool 30 sec contrast, finish with cool

    • Dress warmly after drying and go to bed

    **if no tub, do a foot soak with a blanket around yourself to feel the calming warm embrace.

  • Deep Nasal Breathing

    Materials:

    • Just you

    Method:

    • Lips sealed, and very important, 'smile’. It can naturally lift your tongue up to the palate, lift your soft palate, very important the tongue is entirely in the palate to open the airway for maximum intake. Whole tongue including base of the tongue, not only the tip.

    • Take a breath in through the nose and out

    • Standing: now have your feet about shoulder width apart, roll shoulders back to relax and release, and let only your nose work for the breath intake - deep low and expand

      • feel the expansion of your body going down deep to the tips of your toes and fingers

    • Lying down: no pillow, flat on the floor, legs flat also, arms slightly out, palms up and do the same nasal breathing as the standing method

      • do this before sleeping, as soon as you wake up in the morning.

  • Nasal Walking

    Materials:

    • A good pair of comfortable shoes

    Method:

    • Start the Deep Nasal Breathing

    • Continue this breathing while walking, lips sealed, nasal breathing only

    • Feel your posture straighten and become aware of where your body structure prefers to be

    • 1hr walk if possible

  • 100 Chews

    Materials:

    • Your last meal for the day

    Method:

    • Prepare a easily digestible plant-based meal with limited liquids.

    • Take the first bite of your meal after praying, and begin to chew with lips sealed.

    • Chew as you count to ten, 10 times.

    • Do your best to allow the food to stay within the mouth without swallowing large pieces too soon.

    • Don’t be hasty, enjoy the exercise.

  • Distance Radiation

    Materials:

    • A place to put your wireless electronic devices, far away from your bed

    • Analogue clock for alarm

    Methods:

    • Last 1-2hours (or more) prior sleeping, avoid screen time.

    • Replace this time with a paper book (Bible), or walking activity, or one of the detox activities listed here.

    • Set your analogue alarm clock.

    • Go to sleep.

  • Kneel To Pray

    Materials:

    • Floor for kneeling

    Method:

    • Kneel on the floor.

    • Feel and realize our humble state, how beaten up we get from living this world, and how we need our Saviour to give us life and rejuvenation.

    • You can pray in any other position, but there is something about that kneeling, that just takes away the tension mental emotionally and physically.
